Our Association Trust Program is a not-for-profit trust designed to eliminate the high administrative expense and profits of traditional insurance plans while providing a greater number of customized plan options. We have formed this program to provide a way to offer cost-competitive benefit programs while maintaining a high level of care for your employees.
By design, the Trust consists of similar groups of businesses with similar risks and exposures. This allows for offset or minimization of the fluctuations in pricing over the long term. Essentially, the Trust can provide long-term premium stability unlike traditional insurance companies who combine many different types of risks. The plans are fully underwritten which will end the subsidization currently taking place in the industry for lower risk groups. If you are an average-to-above-average group in terms of company health, you will benefit from rates based on your specific risk characteristics and not the general population.
The Association Trust Program is a non-profit, fully-insured organization. The fact that it is self-governed by its members is the vital difference between us and other commercial insurance carriers.
